This season has obviously not gone the way that Chelsea wanted it to, and Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern still can’t believe how much of a shocker this season has been!
After a poor first half, the club finally sacked Jose Mourinho when the club was nearing relegation territory in December.
Guus Hiddink would take over as interim manager and spark life into the Blues.

This was nothing unfamiliar to Chelsea supporters, as in 2009, with Hiddink at the helm as an interim the club saw a vast improvement in play and even an FA Cup title.
In recent years Chelsea have not retained trophy-wining interim managers.
Roberto Di Matteo was not around for long after a Champions League victory and the club also let go of Hiddink following an FA Cup win.
Here are FIVE reasons why Chelsea need to break that trend and keep Guus Hiddink next season…….
