In and amongst the emotional farewells to Sir Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes, and the excitement and talk surrounding the appointment of David Moyes, it has been easy to forget another imminent arrival at Manchester United.
That is the arrival of 20-year-old winger Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, the man signed in January but poised to arrive at Old Trafford in time for the first day of pre-season training.
United won the race for Zaha early, beating off competition from a host of top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and the early favourites for his signature, Arsenal.
Zaha completed the rest of the season on loan at Crystal Palace, and despite manager Ian Holloway saying he is hoping to agree another year deal for the young winger, if not than his parting gift will be the outstanding performance he delivered in the Championship play-off final against Watford, which culminated in him winning the decisive penalty that sent Palace back to the Premier League.
At such a young age, it remains to be seen whether Zaha will simply find it too much too soon, or whether he will go on to fulfil his potential and become a success at Old Trafford.
Here we have compiled a list of five reasons why we believe it will be the latter.
