Twelve months ago it was Arsenal who stole the show on deadline day with the club record signing of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.
Whilst the Gunners fans have not been forced to wait all summer for some positive business this time around, they are still heading into Monday’s deadline day with expectations of some more new arrivals.
A new centre back, a new holding midfielder and perhaps a new striker now Olivier Giroud is on the sidelines for four months have all been discussed as possibilities.
