It’s the club football offseason, and everyone knows what that means: international tours.
Monday’s friendly in St. Louis, in the city’s baseball stadium, featured two sides looking to make a run at those who have dominated their respective leagues.
Managerial maestro Jurgen Klopp showed Reds supporters that he could turn around the club with their current squad, with some late season success.
On the other side, AS Roma will look to snatch the Serie A crown from the Old Lady this upcoming season after finishing third last campaign.
Both sides have made moves this summer and have used these friendlies as a way to test formations and if the right players fit in the XI.
This was the final friendly for both the Reds and the Wolves before the start of the new season, and a last chance for some players to prove themselves and for the managers to narrow down their selections for opening weekend.
