Give me a second to catch my breath.
Sorry, I was working the deadline day shift in the Football Transfer Tavern last night and the madness has just finished for the summer and weary looking punters edged towards the exit doors around 11:30pm after the pandimonium the day brought with it.
If I’m not mistaken, there is still a group of Gunners fans still singing away in the beer garden and it is no wonder why. Arsene Wenger has arguably pulled off the shock of the window by smashing Arsenal’s transfer record by signing Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for £42.5 million.
I feel bad cutting the Arsenal fans’ celebrations short so I’m going to clean up inside first and then join them for a cheeky pint and get their thoughts on Arsenal’s actions on deadline day and yes, don’t worry, I will let you know what they say.
