Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking up from their pints and towards our landlord as he begins to discuss their club and what happened during the January transfer window.
Of course, Blues fans are elated at the fact that their side beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last night, becoming the only team to do that, while stopping them scoring at home as well.
Jose Mourinho may still claim his side are not title favourites, but we think the Special One could well have a few tricks up his sleeve – although none of them will come in regards to a forward – the club failed to buy one.
They did bring in a couple of players during the window and sold a rather big name to the distress of most Blues fans here in the tavern.
With just under half the season left to go and the business end of it certainly upon us, we have moved away from the pool table and over towards the bar to have a discussion about the five things Chelsea taught us on deadline day.
