Manchester United supporters in the Football Transfer Tavern are enjoying the last few days of summer by relaxing in our newly-built beer garden that has been increasingly popular among punters following the closure of the transfer window on Monday.

Discussion has now turned to how they believe their club fared in the transfer window with a number of Red Devils supporters dismissive of David Moyes’ productivity and lack of new signings over the summer that has passed.

While Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini arrived at Old Trafford in a £27.5 million deal, the other purchases were made up of promising young players as United suffered a frustrating transfer window made up of missed high profile targets.
