schurrle.jpgJose Mourinho has only been back at Stamford Bridge for a few weeks, and has already been busy in the transfer market.

Mourinho appears desperate to pick up where he left off at Chelsea. When he left by ‘mutual consent’ in 2007, the club were one of the most feared in Europe, having won two Premier League titles in the past three years, and appeared able to attract any player they wanted in the transfer market.

Times have changed slightly since, with titles proving far less easy to come by. Abramovich has turned to the special one to recapture the glory days, and this summers transfer window is the perfect place to start.

A top striker appears the priority, and Chelsea and Mourinho have certainly made the headlines in that department over the past few days. The Portuguese coach has also recruited players for the present and the future, whilst calling back a host of talented players who were allowed out on loan last season.
