Manchester United have completed their first piece of transfer business of the summer, and whilst Guillermo Varela may not be the biggest name now, there is evidence to suggest in the future he may be.
United do have a history of unearthing top South American full backs, with Rafael now established as one of the leagues finest, and twin brother Fabio still on the clubs books.
It now appears both will have future competion from the 20-year-old Varela, with the young Uruguayan completing his move to Old Trafford for an undisclosed fee.
It is David Moyes first piece of transfer business at Manchester United, and with the Scot showing time and again he was able to spot a bargain during his time at Everton, he will no doubt be hoping that talent continues at Old Trafford.
