Arsenal’s first piece of transfer business this summer seems done and dusted, although it is not the big name signing many were hoping and expecting.
Arsene Wenger is yet to delve into his £70million transfer budget for the summer, although big name arrivals are soon expected, perhaps most noticeably the possible capture of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.
In the meantime, Wenger has bought another young French talent to the Emirates – something he has a habit of doing – this time in the form of young striker Yaya Sanogo.
Not yet a household name, Sanogo has been attracting attention across Europe after some eye catching performances for French side Auxurre, the club Wenger has previously raided for the likes of Abou Diaby and Bacary Sagna.
