Tottenham have arguably taken up more column inches than any other club throughout this summer transfer window, and with just a few days to go before the Premier League season kicks off – you have to say the squad looks in good condition.
Gareth Bale is still a Spurs player (for now) whilst Andre Villas-Boas has managed to add strength and depth to the squad, whilst breaking the club’s transfer record twice.
Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has been joined by Belgian wide man Nacer Chadli, and club record signing Roberto Soldado is set to freshen up the attack.
Meanwhile Spurs have won the race to sign French defensive midfielder Etienne Capoue, meaning the battle for places at White Hart Lane will prove fiercer than ever.
Villas-Boas may now well have to free up some room in the squad by allowing some of the deadwood to leave.
There have been very few outgoings at White Hart Lane this summer, suggesting the Tottenham boss wants a big squad to choose from next season with his side set to battle on four fronts.
There is no doubt however that there are some players he clearly doesn’t fancy, who are fighting for their Tottenham futures.
