Tottenham may have saved their best peformances at White Hart Lane for the Europa League this season but there have been positives drawn from this.
And perhaps the biggest positive is the emergence of Harry Kane with the young striker making a name for himself in the cup competitions and carrying similar form into the Premier League.
Kane was on target once again last weekend as Spurs picked up a much needed win over Hull City, scoring a crucial equaliser on 61 minutes.
And with Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado still failing to fire, Kane has emerged as Tottenham’s number one striker in what has been a difficult opening few months to the season for new boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine coach was not given big money to spend in the summer and has shown a desire to work with what he has so far.
But four home defeats from five games has not been the desired start to life at White Hart Lane and makes you wonder whether the former Southampton boss would be better off calling on homegrown talent and the likes of Kane ahead of the expensive flops.
Here we have identified five youngsters on Tottenham’s books who could end up following Kane into the first team in the near future.
