Manchester United head into the international break on the back of a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace that has seen them leapfrog rivals Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Prior to the Palace game, United had gone three games without a victory, drawing with both West Brom and Chelsea before losing to Manchester City at the Etihad.
But with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and even City struggling around them – a top four finish is by no means out of the question, despite what should be considered a poor start to life under Louis van Gaal.
And the good news for United fans is that they are only going to get better the more time the world class signings recruited in the summer are given to settle.
And reports suggest van Gaal will look to spend big when the transfer window reopens in January.
