Arsenal’s season ended with a comfortable 2-0 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday.
The win took Arsene Wenger’s side to 79 points for the season, and a comfortable fourth-placed finish.
The Gunners will now turn their attentions to the FA Cup Final against Hull City next week, with one sidenote being it could well be the final time full back Bacary Sagna pulls on an Arsenal shirt.
The France international is out of contract this summer, and has been continuously linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.
Sagna has been at Arsenal since 2007, and has been a model of consistency in that time.
The 31-year-old had hoped to be rewarded with a pay rise for the loyalty shown when the likes of Real Madrid had shown an interest, but Arsenal have so far refused to budge.
Sagna himself has already admitted he is set to leave the Gunners after the FA Cup Final.
“I’m out of contract, as everyone knows. I still consider myself as an Arsenal player at present,” Sagna toldĀ Europe1.
“But actually we had a small problem to agree with the club, and I don’t think I’ll stay at Arsenal at the end of the season.”
Here we have identified five possible replacements for the Arsenal right back.
