Everton supporters enjoyed their weekend in the Football Transfer Tavern perhaps more than any other fanbase, after watching their side ease past Arsenal with a comfortable 3-0 win at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The result has taken the Toffees to within one point of Arsene Wenger’s side, and with a game in hand on their rivals, their Champions League destiny is firmly in their own hands.
Yesterday’s performance typified just how far Roberto Martinez has taken this Everton side, with the manner in which they passed Arsenal to death at times in a manner reminiscent of the Gunners in their prime under Arsene Wenger.
It is now six consecutive Premier League victories for Everton, and the fans are truly starting to believe they will be playing amongst Europe’s elite next season.
Champions League qualification will also give the club a much needed cash injection, and allow Martinez to operate at an entirely different level in the transfer market.
The Spaniard bought in a host of shrewd loan signings during his first window in charge, with Romelu Lukaku, Gareth Barry, and Gerard Deulofeu all playing key parts in their success this season.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at five potential signings we think the fans would not be too happy with.
