David Moyes will already have learnt a lot from his first official month in charge of Manchester United, perhaps most importantly of all that transfer business is perhaps not the walk in the park he expected.
Moyes was used to working on a shoestring budget at Everton, and would have no doubt been thrilled by the prospect of spending the untold riches available to him at Old Trafford.
That has been anything but the case so far however, with the Scot still waiting for his first marquee signing at Old Trafford.
Instead the summer has so far mainly been spent having bids rejected by Barcelona and attempting to hold on to star players of his own.
Manchester United fans have grown somewhat frustrated with the lack of activity, and with the season just over two weeks away, it is time for Moyes to step it up.
There is the risk of rushing transfer business now however, and it is crucial the club stay calm and conduct their business properly, with regards to potential incomings and outgoings.
