Another crazy season has drawn to a close for Tottenham fans, who this week announced the arrival of yet another new manager.
Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood each had half a season to try and guide one of the most expensively assembled Premier League squads into the Champions League, and both failed.
Chairman Daniel Levy has established himself as perhaps the most ruthless in the country over the course of a disappointing season, which has left new appointment Mauricio Pochettino under pressure to turn things around almost from the off.
This time a year ago, Tottenham were spending big money in the knowledge they would be about to recoup a world record fee for the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.
But only Christian Eriksen managed to live up to any sort of expectation last season, and it remains to be seen whether Pochettino will be given money to spend, or be asked to work with the players already on the clubs books.
One would think Levy will be willing to offer funds to his new manager, although probably in a more cautious manner than last summer.
One place for Pochettino to start identifying potential new recruits is the World Cup, which is now less than two weeks away.
Here we have identified five potential signings from Group C, which includes Greece, Colombia, the Ivory Coast and Japan.
