Chelsea supporters are set for a busy summer in the transfer market once again, with Jose Mourinho set to embark on the next part of his ‘project’ at Stamford Bridge.

Like any other Premier League boss, Mourinho will have a close eye on the summer’s World Cup in Brazil, with Group D certainly one to watch.
England have been thrown into what appears a ‘group of death’ scenario, with Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica all battling for those top two spots.
Chelsea only have two England representatives in the squad, in the form of Gary Cahill and Frank Lampard. And with Ashley Cole’s summer departure and John Terry’s international retirement, the Blues may well be hoping to recruit some young British talent over the summer.
Italy have been there and done it before, and still boast a wealth of experience and proven quality, whilst Uruguay are being tipped by many to be one of the tournaments dark horses – especially if Liverpool’s Luis Suarez can prove his fitness.
Here we have identified five Group D stars that may well catch Mourinho’s eye this summer.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
