Liverpool striker David Ngog will not be leaving for Sunderland due to his wage demands, according to the People.
According to the report, the fee of £5million plus £50,000 per week wages are just too much for the Black Cats and Steve Bruce has dropped his interest in the Frenchman.
Ngog was said to be reluctant to leave the Reds for the North East despite Liverpool willing to lower the transfer fee and also offering to pay part of a signing on fee to move him on to Wearside.
