£68m-rated Mourinho target has made his mind up over summer move

The Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are gearing up for what looks to be another big summer of business as manager Jose Mourinho looks to build a side capable of exceeding the achievements of his first season and challenging for the Premier League title.

United announced this week that they had completed the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and everyone gathered in the bar here at the Tavern knows that the deal for the Swede is just the start.

A number of top names have been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, none bigger than Real Madrid and Wales star Gareth Bale, who has long been subject of rumours surrounding a United move.

While the former Tottenham and Southampton man never seemed overly likely to make the move this summer, our United supporting punters are always keen to hear news of his intentions.

However, they will be disappointed with reports from Mail Online which claim that the £68m-rated superstar has no intention of leaving the Spanish capital.

Having missed large parts of last season through injury the 27-year-old is supposedly determined to build up his fitness and continue his success under Zinedine Zidane in the new season as opposed to moving on.

United fans, we want to hear from you! Are you as upset with this news as our customers, or was there never a real chance that Bale would be making the move this summer? Let us know…
