TuttomercatoWeb are reporting that Portuguese defender, Jose Bosingwa could be on his way out of Chelsea and heading to Besiktas.
The Turkish outfit have shown considerable interest in the right-back and it looks as though new boss, Andre Vilas-Boas is prepared to ship out his fellow countryman as he looks to build his own team at the Bridge.
It has been suggested that the Turks have been making their interest clear for some time as they see him as a perfect addition to their side. With their interest being made quite clear, the two clubs have been in contact and negotiations over a possible deal are believed to be well under way.
The Black Eagles failed to qualify for Champions League football last season and are now attempting to bring in some big name signing to strengthen their cause for next season.
The 28-year-old right back joined Chelsea in the summer of 2008, alongside his former Portugal national coach, Luiz Felipe Scolari, but he didn’t last very long. Bosingwa has managed to make more of an impact at the club than Scolari did but still the Portuguese has struggled with injuries in recent seasons and failed to prevent Branislav Ivanovic from taking his role.
There does not seem to be much of a future with Jose Bosingwa at Chelsea and so the player would be willing to make that move abroad and star anew at Besiktas.
The Turkish club are willing to offer £6Million to Chelsea for the player, who will join compatriot Manchester United’s Bebe at the club, who is on a year loan deal.
