Transfer windows are depressing affairs for the residents of N17. Whilst every other club seems to be improving their squad and making themselves stronger for the upcoming season, Spurs are struggling too so much as sign a youth player. The bad news continues though, as The Mirror claim that Tottenham will have to cough up 70 million euros if they want to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Spurs have been linked to a lot of central-midfielders this summer, with Kondogbia just the latest in a list that also includes Tanguy Ndombele, Adrien Rabiot, Stephan N’Zonzi and Mateo Kovacic. However, it looks unlikely that the club will be signing any of these and the fans will be lucky to even sign Jack Grealish, who’s been linked with the club since the very start of the transfer window back in May.
If the Lillywhites do sign a player then they’ll be lucky to get more than two new incomings. The transfer window has just nine days left until it closes and it seems like the club aren’t close to signing to anyone at the moment. The fans are all irate and they don’t know what to do with themselves as the likes of Fulham, Wolves and West Ham all splash the cash whilst they’re left frustrated at their complete lack of action.

That's the end of that then!! Could have been £17m and we wouldn't have paid it anyway

Ha ha that’s €70m too much for Levy and Lewis.

Music to levy’s ears, he will just say another target we can’t get with a massive smile to save him spending money

No chance then. About 70million too much for our owners lol.

Just from the tweets above you can see that the fans have no faith in the club to secure a deal, especially not for 70 million euros.
