Leeds took to the pitch yesterday in the first game of their tour against a Myanmar National League All-stars team. The Whites were left with egg on their face as they fell to a 2-1 defeat, keeping their recent form up as they failed to get a win. The club suffered an absolutely dismal second-half to the season, winning just four games between January 1st and the end of the season. That shocking form saw them drop from 6th to an abysmal 13th.
With the club now trekking around Myanmar, the players have a chance to play two friendly matches, host some coaching sessions for local children and visit some cultural areas as they wind down following a gruelling season in England’s second tier. After their tour, the players will be returning home and then they will quickly be getting back into their pre-season after a short holiday break, with the aims of Premier League promotion for the 2018/19 season.

Just imagine how good they would have been if the government hadn't slaughtered half the population then. Lucky for Leeds!
