AC Milan and Lazio plotting move for £6m-rated Sunderland hotshot following relegation

It’s been an awful season for Sunderland in the Premier League and their supporters lining the bar here in the Tavern have been seriously disappointed with what they’ve seen at ties from their team.

But moving forward, another campaign in the Championship awaits and they’ve got to now decide who is going to take them forward at the helm too. After David Moyes left the club, Sunderland are managerless, struggling for financial income and are facing life in the second-tier with a weaker-than-expected squad.

And another man they could be set to lose in the coming weeks is striker Fabio Borini who, according to the Sunderland Echo, could be on his way back to Italy.

They’ve touted a £6million-move back to Serie A, with both AC Milan and Lazio reportedly interested in making a move for the former Liverpool man.

Sunderland’s squad of stars is expected to get split up following their return to the second tier and Borini is certainly a player who will bring in a considerable cash sum, should they decide to sell.
