AC Milan join Arsenal in race for PSG ace

Adrien RabiotThe Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have witnessed an injury and a suspension in their midfield this week – not the greatest start to the season.

And according to TalkSport, their plans to sign further midfielders have also hit a stumbling block after AC Milan entered the race for Adrien Rabiot.

The French youngster currently plays for Ligue One giants PSG and it was thought that both sides had agreed a fee of £5.6 million.

However it now seems that the San Siro outfit have entered the chase for the youngster who is yet to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes.

Rabiot has just one more year left on his contract and reports suggest that AC Milan have offered to take him off their hands for the season.

PSG have not given up hope of extending his deal and a loan move would provide Laurent Blanc with more time to try and convince the starlet his future is in France.

However it would also mean that the French under-21 star would be free to leave this time next year should the parties fail to agree a new deal.
