Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are informed by talkSPORT that AC Milan will not keep hold of their on loan talent at the end of the season, as they decide against signing Marco van Ginkel on a permanent basis.
The 22-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at the San Siro, after struggling to break into the first-team at Chelsea, and he was hoping to make a name for himself in Serie A.
However, this doesn’t look likely, as the officials at Milan have opted to pull out of signing the Dutchman.
His time in Milan has been very tough, having only made five appearances, but this lack of game time is due to injuries.
So instead of settling down in Italy, he will return to Chelsea’s training ground in Cobham.
Chelsea currently have, a staggering, 25 players out on loan, so Jose Mourinho has a tough task on his hands to decide who will stay, and who will move on at the end of the season.
Blues fans over by the dartboard are debating whether van Ginkel has a future at Stamford Bridge, with the majority of punters saying he is simply not needed in Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Chelsea fans. What do you think will happen at the end of the season, will the majority be loaned out again, or will Mourinho look to sell some of the on loan players? Let us know your thoughts below.
