Manchester United fans have expressed their surprise at one report this morning, as they debate transfers in the Transfer Tavern over a glass of the last mulled wine we have in stock.
Belgian international Fellaini has struggled to impress at Old Trafford and finds himself out of Louis Van Gaal’s first-team plans, whilst he’s been surprisingly deployed as a makeshift forward at times during the season.
Milan are said to be tracking Fellaini but the price is a huge stumbling block, with the Italian side unable to afford his €25m asking price and annual wages of €3.5m.
Manchester United rejected the loan move swiftly when it was proposed, though they are open to an exit for Fellaini but only if a permanent offer is made.
