Achraf Lazaar has had a nightmare time at Newcastle United over the past few seasons.
The Morocco international has seemingly been frozen out of the senior side at the Magpies and his future clearly looks to be away from the Premier League outfit.
It is believed he came close to a move to Italy in the summer, however, reports are now suggesting he could be on the verge of heading to the country this winter.
The 26-year-old would almost definitely be available and Newcastle will likely be happy to offload him from their wage bill.
However, the report does not suggest if a deal would be on a temporary basis, or whether the Serie A sides would be keen on a permanent transfer for the £2.57million Rafa Benitez flop, as per Transfermarkt.
Lazaar’s future at Newcastle is non-existent and a move would be the best thing for everyone concerned.
The 26-year-old would be able to get his career restarted with a move away from the Premier League outfit, which could also improve his chances of playing international football once again.
Newcastle, on the other hand, will be pleased to finally offload a man that Benitez clearly deems surplus to requirements and save money on his wages.
