Liverpool have been incredible so far this season as they continue to push towards the Premier League title.
The Reds have certainly forgotten all about their disastrous performance in the Champions League final last year, with their unbeaten streak still intact in the current campaign. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp has managed to rally his troops to go again and strengthened in all the right areas, so things are definitely on the up for Liverpool.
However, the Liverpool boss will need to think about the futures of a couple of his players after a rather busy summer transfer window, with a rather large squad at his disposal.
So, here’s a look at TWO men that should never feature for Liverpool again…
The central defender hasn’t managed to feature for the Reds so far this season after a rather successful World Cup with his home country Croatia.
However, he does currently find himself down the pecking order due to the settled defensive partnership that includes Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk, with Fabinho and Joel Matip also able to operate in defence.
Therefore, the 29-year-old could find himself frozen out of Jurgen Klopp’s plans after a rather inconsistent campaign last time around, which could mean that he never features for the Reds again.
Adam Lallana has been plagued with injuries since moving to Anfield after establishing himself as one of the rising stars in English football during his time at Southampton.
And, with Liverpool currently having one of the strongest attacks in the whole of world football and an overloaded midfield, it’s been almost impossible for the Englishman to break into the side.
So, with the January transfer window edging closer by the day and Klopp opting to go with his same settled side on almost every matchday, it looks as if Lallana will be on his way out in the near future.
