Sheffield Wednesday managed to secure a valuable point in the Steel City derby last night as they held Sheffield United to a bore draw.
The Owls will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Championship having struggled for form recently, with a play-off spot slipping away. Although, they did suffer a boost on the transfer front recently, as according to Sun Sport, Adam Reach has insisted he will not leave Sheffield Wednesday in January.
Adam Reach has been linked with a January switch to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks, and he revealed his dream to play in the top-flight of English football not so long ago.
But, the winger has insisted that he would stay with Jos Luhukay’s side beyond January, and thinks that the Owls can jump up the table to bring themselves into the fight for promotion to the top tier.
“My dream is to play in the Premier League — ideally with Sheffield Wednesday.”
“Yet a few wins and everything is rosy again and I still believe we can get promoted,”
Adam Reach has been influential for the Owls so far this season, so they’ll be delighted that he looks set to stay at the club until the end of the season at least.
Indeed, the winger has popped up with a number of wonder strikes and is an accomplished crosser of the ball from the left-hand side, so he will play a huge part in their promotion push.
