Everton will have their sights set on securing a European spot in the current campaign, despite not signing a single player during the January transfer window.
The Toffees failed to secure all three points against Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier on today, which comes as a big blow as they now find themselves four points behind the Midlands club.
However, it appears as if one of Marco Silva’s current first-team members is attracting interest, as according to Calciomercato (via Football Fancast), AC Milan are lining up a summer bid for Ademola Lookman.
AC Milan are lining up a summer bid for Everton attacker Ademola Lookman.
Indeed, it’s believed that the Italian club were unsuccessful in their attempts to secure a number of targets during the January transfer window.
And, the club’s scouts are already reportedly identifying targets for the summer, with Lookman being a possibility.
Lookman has struggled to secure regular minutes under Marco Silva in the current campaign, so a summer transfer window move could be in the offing if things don’t improve.
Ademola Lookman has all the ingredients to become a star in the Premier League but he just hasn’t been able to work his way into Silva’s plans on a regular basis. Indeed, the likes of Bernard, Theo Walcott and Richarlison have been immovable, which has made it difficult for the youngster to break into the starting lineup.
