“Advantage Man United,” “Good luck” – Liverpool & Man City fans react to worrying Red Devils news

Of all the topics being fiercely debated in the Transfer Tavern, none are receiving more attention right now than Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s apparent season-ending injury.

The 35-year-old striker has been nothing short of phenomenal since signing for the Red Devils on a free transfer from PSG last summer, going on to bag a whopping 28 goals in all competitions.

That includes 17 strikes in the Premier League to give United a chance of sneaking into the top four, whilst he’s also helped fire Jose Mourinho’s side to the semi-finals of the Europa League – where they’ll face Celta Vigo.

But Zlatan limped off in the quarter-finals on Thursday night and according to Sky Sports, the knee injury is likely to keep him sidelined for the rest of the campaign.

Fans of rival clubs in the Tavern have been keeping it respectable. Although they’re not keen on United as a club, they respect Ibrahimovic’s many achievements in the game throughout the years.

Unfortunately, however, the same can’t be said for everybody on Twitter. Here’s a look at how Liverpool, Manchester City and Spurs fans reacted online…
