The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been impressed with many of the players within Jurgen Klopp’s squad this season.
The German has really created an incredible outfit of players, and several of them are amongst Europe’s best. In particular, Mohamed Salah has been stunning this term, whilst Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have also been very impressive.
However, despite the success of some players, there are also a handful of individuals that have fallen by the wayside during the club’s recent rise.
Liverpool are on the cusp of something great, and unfortunately, not everyone is going to be able to ride the wave of progress. Instead, it’s time for them to step aside.
With that said, these 2 Liverpool players should never play for the club ever again – agreed?
Alberto Moreno has had a really tough time of it at Liverpool.
High hopes were on his shoulders when he signed, but it’s been a bit of a struggle for him.
Inconsistent form has really been his downfall, and the arrival of Andy Robertson has forced him out of the first team.
Liverpool are a team on the up, and they’re clearly going to be leaving some players in the past. Moreno, unfortunately, falls under the banner of no longer being needed.
Simon Mignolet has been a solid choice for Liverpool over the years, but his time to go has come.
Like Moreno, inconsistent form has been a real problem for him, and it’s an issue that doesn’t seem to be going away.
The Belgian clearly is in a class below Loris Karius, and at 30-years-old, he isn’t going to be getting any better.
A drop down the league makes sense.
