Agent confirms Tottenham’s Euro 2016 target is keen on Premier League switch

pochettinopochettino123Tottenham Hotspur have been given a timely boost in the transfer market, following an agent’s comments which opened the door for a swoop.

The Daily Express quotes the agent of Fiorentina ace Milan Badelj, Dejan Joksimovic, as stating a move to the Premier League would be difficult for his client to reject.

“The Premier League is always attractive, for all of the players in the world I think. If he leaves Fiorentina this summer all the options are available, we have talked about this a lot. Clubs playing in Champions League have priority, if there are some.”

The 27-year-old Croatian international, who played the full ninety minutes of his nation’s opening Euro 2016 victory over Turkey, has been linked with a move to north London as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his squad for Champions League involvement.

Signing the midfielder would also not eat too much off of the Argentine’s summer budget, with Badelj’s signature expected to cost just £12m.
