The Express cite Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, as stating that the French midfielder does not have an agreement to join Barcelona next summer– which means both Premier League sides still have the chance of securing his signature.
Former Manchester United midfielder Pogba has developed into one of the finest footballers in Europe and is widely-tipped for big things in the future, with many touting him as a possible winner for the Ballon D’Or in the future.
Whilst some in Spain believe Pogba had agreed a deal to join Barcelona, Raiola denied that was the case when speaking to Le10Sport.
“An agreement with FC Barcelona? Absolutely not. Those who want him should sit with Juventus and then we’ll see. This summer, there were three or four clubs interested, but he chose to stay at Juventus.”
Manchester City fans are gloating that they’re the favourites to sign Pogba, as they believe the French midfielder would be crazy to join an under-performing Chelsea side.
City fans, can Pogba’s addition be the catalyst for European success? Let us know in the comments below!
