Agent suggests star client could snub Premier League interest for Italy

Zlatan IbrahimovicZlatan IbrahimovicSupporters from a wide variety of Premier League sides have expressed their disappointment today in the Transfer Tavern, after hearing comments that suggest a huge target could snub a move to England.

Italian magazine GQ quote the agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mino Raiola, as stating the Swedish superstar is considering a return to Italy, specially with AC Milan, where he has previously starred with Milan, Inter and Juventus.

“We’re already in talks with a club where he left his mark once already. Ibra has already shown that he is capable of making incredible gestures and even turning down millions to go to Milan could be one of them.”

“As things stand, though, he has not yet made up his mind.”

The veteran striker previously confirmed that a number of Premier League sides want his services, said to be Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, but with a wealth of interest on the continent, and the striker’s audacious wages, sealing his signature could be difficult.

Our landlord though is confident that the Premier League is the most likely move, specifically as both Milan sides are without Champions League football again next season- and Ibrahimovic will want a final chance to win a trophy that’s thus far eluded him.
