Ajax look to end Arsenal loanee’s spell early

SanogoArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t surprised to hear the latest rumours from Holland, which suggest Ajax aren’t happy with the displays of their Gunners loanee.

Yaya Sanogo, who joined the Dutch side on a season-long loan over the summer, has struggled to cope with the demands placed upon him by the Eredivisie club; which has led Ajax to plot a move for a new striker in January.

In fact, the suggestions indicate that Ajax could look to end Sanogo’s spell in Holland early and see him return to Arsenal before the end of the current campaign.

Forward Sanogo has been criticised by many since arriving at Arsenal, where he has failed to show any form that indicates why Arsene Wenger brought him to the club; excluding a four-goal haul at the 2014 Emirates Cup.

Arsenal had hoped a spell with Ajax, where he is coached by Gunners legend Dennis Bergkamp, would help him develop but it appears that isn’t the case.

Arsenal fans, should you get rid of Sanogo permanently? Let us know in the comments below!
