Over the last few seasons, Liverpool fans have known that their only real issue in the squad has been between the sticks. Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius are shocking options for a club that is competing at the level of Liverpool. On the Liverpool website, Andrew Robertson has explained the impact that Alisson has had after his debut against Napoli.
Alisson Becker’s distribution was a notable aspect of his #LFC debut on Saturday.

Liverpool sunk the Serie A runners-up in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium and it couldn’t have been more convincing. Goals from James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Mo Salah, Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno completed the 5-0 rout and whilst the scoreline suggests that Liverpool’s new stopper had little to do, the Brazilian still impressed the fans with his ability on the ball.
The long-range passing of Alisson was a joy to behold for the Reds. Anfield is used to seeing blunders and horror shows from goalkeepers ever since Pepe Reina left the club but those years seem to be behind them now as Alisson Becker’s arrival should signal the beginning of Liverpool looking like a squad capable of winning trophies. No one has questioned Jurgen Klopp’s front-line, and now they’ve sorted out the problems at the back they look set to go on and do big things.
You can read the Kopites’ verdict on Alisson here:
The defence looked like they trust his decision. The amount of times they passed back to him when they were in trouble says anything. Long may it continue.

He was cutting it a little too thin at times, in my opinion.

That's what he does. Watch his highlights at Roma. He's very calm and collected on the ball.

I was st the game & his distribution was class! Was only a friendly but was great to see what he can do, shame he didn’t get tested properly but he really is a great addition to the team
