Southampton have struggled to ensure consistency in the current campaign, despite securing an incredible victory against Arsenal not so long ago.
The Saints have certainly improved under the guidance of Ralph Hasenhuttl, but the January transfer window is desperately needed with a number of areas requiring strengthening.
Although, it appears as if the club turned their attention towards securing a player agreement recently, as according to Southampton’s official website, exciting youngster Allan Tchaptchet has signed a professional contract.
The central defender has been a regular in the Under-18s team this season, producing a number of outstanding performances, while he has also been involved with the Under-23 set-up on occasions already.
And, he has also already enjoyed a taste of first-team training under the eye of Ralph Hasenhuttl, so the future definitely looks bright for the Frenchman.

Allan Tchaptchet has established himself as arguably one of the most promising players at Southampton, having already caught the eye of the Saints boss at the age of 17.
He will no doubt play a huge part in the future of the club and could even feature sometime soon, so supporters should be keeping a close eye on him.
