Newcastle can make a big statement by getting the better of Arsenal at the Emirates tomorrow and it may just give Rafa Benitez’s side enough confidence to kick on and climb into the top-half.
The Magpies have struggled with consistency at times this season which certainly hasn’t helped them meet their aims, as they now find themselves with nothing to really play for from here on in until the end of the season.
And, it appears as if one of the club’s current stars is eyeing a potential move away from St James’ Park, as according to Spanish outlet El Chringuito (via Daily Mail), Ayoze Perez has hinted he wants to return to Spain.
Indeed, the Spaniard has impressed this season, producing seven goals and four assists in all competitions. Of course, losing the No.10 would come as a big blow for the Magpies as he finally appears to be reaching his full potential and he’s built a great partnership with Salomon Rondon.
Although, supporters shouldn’t worry about his potential departure too much as Rafa Benitez has already found the perfect replacement for Perez in the form of Miguel Almiron. The South American playmaker has displayed moments of brilliance at St James’ Park already and he has all the ingredients to become a star in the top-flight.
His creative and goalscoring abilities would definitely make up for the potential void left by Perez, so fans have plenty of reasons to be excited with Almiron possibly growing into their new hero.
Newcastle United fans, do you think that Almiron could replace Perez if he ends up returning to Spain? Join the discussion by commenting down below!
