West Ham United managed to pick up a valuable point away from home against Leicester City yesterday, as things are beginning to look up for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
The Hammers will be desperate to kick on and challenge for a European spot under the South American, with the January transfer window helping their cause. Interestingly, it appears as if the London club are potentially set to add to their squad, as according to Ultima Hora (via Football.london), Miguel Almiron is on his way to West Ham.
It has been reported that Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron is on his way to West Ham in a £25 million deal.
Indeed, the midfielder has lit up the MLS over the last couple of seasons and during the current campaign has bagged 12 goals and 13 assists in 32 appearances for Atlanta.
Interestingly, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal were supposedly keeping tabs on the midfielder, but the Hammers appear to have made the move.
Miguel Almiron has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in English football if continues to develop his game, with West Ham United reportedly set to sign him.
The Hammers have had to go on without Manuel Lanzini this season, so perhaps the Paraguayan can fill the void while he remains out on the sidelines.
