Everton made a number of changes in the summer to try and improve their fortunes after last season’s disappointing campaign.
Marco Silva was appointed as the man to succeed from Sam Allardyce and he brought in a number of players to bolster the squad.
The likes of Richarlison and Bernard have already appeared to have hit the ground running for the Goodison Park outfit, whilst Lucas Digne has also looked like he will turn out to be a great acquisition.
However, the club are yet to see the Frenchman’s former Barcelona team-mates, Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, in action – until now.
Although both have been nursing injuries prior to joining the club, the duo made a return to action in a training game on Thursday.

Everton released the positive news on their official Twitter account and those associated with the club will be hoping it is not too long before they make their first appearances of the season in the Premier League soon.
Everton will be delighted to have both Mina and Gomes edging closer to being involved for the first-team.
The pair, who both arrived on transfer deadline day this summer, have both been out with their respective injuries but now it seems as though they could be involved within the first-team in the imminent future.
Mina would be extremely welcomed at the back as their defence still has it’s concerns when it comes to conceding goals, whilst Gomes will look to provide the club with an attacking boost as the Portugal international possess some creative ability that Everton have missed at times.
