Angelo Ogbonna could leave West Ham in January - Latest News

West Ham United made a number of additions to their defence in the summer with the likes of Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena arriving and making an immediate impact.

Their performances have meant the likes of Angelo Ogbonna have found game time much more limited in Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team.

Because of the new duo’s impressive performances, the 30-year-old has had to make do with a place on the bench and has made just five appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League this season.

However, according to a report, it appears the £9.9million Slaven Bilic signing, as per Transfermarkt, could be offered a way out of the London Stadium to get regular football.

TransferMarketWeb are claiming Bologna and Valencia are thought to be interested in the Italy international and could look to make a move for him in the winter.

The Verdict:

A move would certainly appear to be something that Ogbonna would benefit from as he continues to warm the substitutes bench at the London Stadium.

With Diop and Balbuena hardly putting a foot wrong this season, the 30-year-old will find it incredibly difficult to break into the first-team.

However, with the injuries that West Ham have suffered over the course of the season, it would remain to be seen if the Irons would be keen to allow their experienced enforcer to leave the capital in the winter.
