The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Scott Parker has left his role as Spurs’ U18 coach to take up a first-team coaching role at Fulham. The news has come out of nowhere, taking Tottenham fans by surprise, although it was only going to be a matter of time before Parker left for a more senior role.
The Club can confirm that Scott Parker has left his role as our U18s Coach to take up a first team coaching position at Fulham. We wish him all the best for the future.

Parker spent two seasons with Tottenham as a player, transferring from West Ham in summer 2011 before leaving for Fulham two summers later in August 2013. The midfielder epitomised what Tottenham are all about with hard work and passion for shirt coming first and he quickly established himself as a fan favourite at the club. After his retirement in summer 2017, he took up a coaching role with Spurs and after a successful year, he’s now left his post.
Parker will be leaving to work with Slavisa Jokanovic in his first Premier League coaching role after the Cottagers won the playoff and are now a Premier League outfit again. This season will be a big one for Parker and co at Craven Cottage as maintaining their status as a top-flight club will be a must considering the financial implications of relegation. That isn’t an issue for Spurs though, who’s only problem is finding a new coach for their U18s, although some fans think another ex-midfielder could fit the bill perfectly.
