Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have come to terms with the fact that the majority of their transfer business in January will be outgoing, with fresh reports surfacing to support those beliefs.
Former Newcastle United right-back Debuchy is keen to leave the Emirates in January in search of more regular first-team football, with the 30-year-old concerned that the current lack of action is putting his chances of being a part of France’s Euro 2016 squad in jeopardy.
Arsenal are reluctant to lose Debuchy, who is currently second-choice to Hector Bellerin, but will respect the player’s wishes and allow a January departure to be made- though they’re only interested in a temporary deal for the time being.
Remi Garde is desperate for his compatriot to come to Villa Park and improve the side’s disastrous season, with the side rock-bottom of the Premier League yet to win a league game under Garde.
Our landlord believes it would be a good move for both club and player but it won’t save Villa from relegation.
