‘Another talent wasted’ – Chelsea fans slam club’s transfer policy on Twitter after latest agreement

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are perplexed by their club’s decision to allow Kenedy to leave on loan to Newcastle this month, and by the general transfer policy of their club in recent times.

Antonio Conte has consistently bemoaned his lack of options within Chelsea’s first-team squad this season, and his complaints are beginning to frustrate the supporters. Despite his perceived lack of depth within his squad, Conte allowed Brazilian left-back Kenedy to move to Newcastle on loan yesterday. Kenedy was Chelsea’s only recognised natural back-up for Marcos Alonso, so it’s unsurprising that the decision has caused confusion amongst The Pensioners on Twitter.

At this moment in time, Chelsea have the likes of Ruben Loftus Cheek, Tammy Abraham, Kurt Zouma and Lewis Baker all playing their trade on loan, and the Chelsea fans are beginning to question why so many players are allowed to leave if Conte believes his squad is so short of depth.

Following Kenedy’s temporary departure from the club, the Chelsea supporters took to Twitter to slate the decision and voice their support for the Brazilian.

And the fans appear to be hoping that he will improve as a player during his time at St James’ Park and return with the attitude and experience to warrant a place in Chelsea’s first-team next season.

Here’s what The Blues faithful had to say about Kenedy’s move to Newcastle on Twitter…
