Everton haven’t been able to get into their groove so far this season as they continue to produce inconsistent results under Marco Silva.
The Toffees would have been hoping to secure a European spot after a busy summer transfer window, but they just haven’t performed well enough in the current campaign. And, it appears as if one of the club’s youngsters is attracting interest, as according to The Sun on Sunday (14/10; page 61) (via HITC), Norwich City are interested in taking Anthony Evans on loan.
Norwich are keen on securing the services of Anthony Evans.
Although, they will reportedly have to convince Everton that they can help the midfielder improve after his underwhelming loan spell at Morecambe last season.
Indeed, it makes a lot of sense for the midfielder to go out on loan to the Championship after the disappointment of last season, with Norwich City helping James Maddison thrive at Carrow Road.
Anthony Evans has plenty of potential and is keen to learn and develop, but he hasn’t necessarily been able to show his quality and class in recent times.
So, hopefully a loan move away to the Championship will help him earn regular minutes and discover some form, with an impressive loan spell helping his first team chances.
