West Ham United will be desperate to enjoy a positive run of form having gone their last four games in all competitions without a win.
The Hammers failed to reach the quarter-final stages of the Football League Cup in their last outing as they were beaten 3-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium.
Interestingly, West Ham United will welcome Burnley to the London Stadium in their next Premier League fixture. The Clarets haven’t been able to ensure consistency in the current campaign and have lost their last two, so the Hammers will fancy themselves to take all three points.
With that in mind, Manuel Pellegrini must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO West Ham stars…
Michail Antonio hasn’t been able to work his way into Pellegrini’s plans this season as he continues to live life on the substitutes’ bench at the London Stadium.
However, the Englishman has the ability to cause the opposition plenty of trouble with his pace and incredible eye for goal, so there’s no reason as to why he can’t deliver the goods against a struggling Burnley side.
Mark Noble was given his marching orders in West Ham United’s last Premier League fixture against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, so it will be up to Pedro Obiang to fill the void in the middle of midfield.
The Spaniard is a very-defensive minded player that has the ability to link defence to attack, which is what Pellegrini will need him to do in the absence of Noble later on today.
