Crystal Palace will head into the new season looking to improve on last year's points haul and avoid any flirtation with relegation.

Manager Roy Hodgson knows he has a fine squad on his hands on it's day, but he will be desperate to ensure his team remains consistent and crucially, together, heading into the 19/20 campaign.

Of course, the summer ahead is set to be a massive one for the Eagles, as they face a battle on their hands to keep hold of some star young players like Wilf Zaha and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while also looking to the market to bring in some new additions.

One name this weekend who has been linked with a move to Selhurst Park is West Ham winger Michail Antonio, who has been superb over the last few seasons, albeit on an inconsistent basis.

The former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest star has really grown into his role as a top end Premier League player, and while he has struggled with injuries at times, on his day he is one of the most dangerous wingers in the top flight.

As Palace fight to keep hold of Zaha, who wanted by a whole host of other clubs including the likes of Spurs.

While Zaha offers more in terms of tricks and flicks in wide areas, in Antonio, Palace would be getting a player who is more direct in his movements, as well as being a danger at set pieces owing to his height and spring in his jump.

26 goals in just over 100 appearances for the Hammers is not to be sniffed at for a wide player, and if he could continue this sort of goalscoring form for the Eagles it would go a long way to replacing Zaha if he does indeed get his move away.

Palace will be cash rich if they do cash in on Zaha and Wan-Bissaka, meaning a move for Antonio would certainly not be out of the question.
