‘Are you kidding?’ – Liverpool fans concerned by journalist’s line-up prediction on Twitter

The Liverpool fans are feeling optimistic in the Transfer Tavern ahead of their clash with FC Porto this evening, but they are slightly concerned by the early team news which suggests Alberto Moreno is set to return to the starting line up.

Jurgen Klopp takes his side to Portgual tonight to face FC Porto at the Estadio Do Dragao for the first-leg of Liverpool’s last-sixteen Champions League tie. The pressure is firmly on Liverpool to perform after watching both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur record brilliant results on their travels in Europe last night.

Liverpool will certainly be in for a tough night against a side who remain unbeaten in Liga Nos after 21 fixtures. In the Champions League, the Dragoes won 2 and lost 1 of their home fixtures during the group stage, scoring 9 goals in the process.

With those statistics in mind, Liverpool can be sure of enduring a tough night against a potent attacking side in Portugal this evening. Ahead of their first-leg fixture, Liverpool FC reporter for the Liverpool Echo, namely James Pearce, reported that Alberto Moreno could be drafted into the starting eleven tonight for only his second first-team fixture since the end of November.

Andrew Robertson has performed admirably in Moreno’s absence at left-back, and he has slowly established himself as a firm-favourite amongst the Liverpool supporters in recent weeks.

Unsurprisingly, the news that Moreno could potentially return tonight has not gone down well with The Reds faithful on Twitter, and plenty of them have urged Klopp to change his mind and allow Robertson to retain his place tonight.

Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Moreno’s potential return on Twitter…
